We Believe Private Aviation Should Feel Effortless, With Every Flight Designed Around you

The Jet Guys was built on a simple idea: private aviation should feel effortless, flexible, and tailored to the way you actually fly.

Our roots are in working directly with fractional aircraft owners—helping them enhance their travel experience beyond the limitations of traditional programs. Over time, that hands-on approach evolved into what The Jet Guys is today: an independent private aviation advisory and charter brokerage focused entirely on the client.

OUR SERVICES

Brad Searls

President & Founder

Brad Searls is a 27-year aviation veteran and an Accredited Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), specializing in aircraft valuation. Over two decades in corporate, charter, and airline flight operations, he has held roles including Chief Pilot, President of Marketing & Sales, Head of Customer Service, Safety Officer, Captain, and Partner — giving every appraisal he signs a working pilot's and operator's perspective, not just a desk analyst's. Brad performs USPAP-compliant full, desktop, fractional, and lease appraisals for owners, buyers, lenders, and attorneys who need a defensible, documented valuation they can act on. The Jet Guys, built on that same foundation of hands-on aviation experience, offers a superior private jet charter and aircraft appraisal experience grounded in honest principles, aiming to earn your trust.

Questions? We've got answers.

All FAQs
How does the acquisition process work?
+

We start by defining your mission and budget, then source and shortlist aircraft, run technical due diligence and a pre-purchase inspection, negotiate terms, and manage escrow through to delivery. You stay in control at every step.

Do you represent buyers, sellers, or both?
+

Both. On the buy side we act as your independent advisor; on the sell side we manage valuation, marketing, and the transaction. We never sit on both sides of the same deal.

Are you really independent?
+

Yes. We don't hold inventory and we don't take incentives from sellers or manufacturers. Our recommendations are based on your interests, not a commission on a specific aircraft.

How long does an acquisition usually take?
+

It depends on the aircraft and the market, but most run from a few weeks to a few months — from initial search to closing. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand your requirements.

What does the pre-purchase inspection cover?
+

A detailed review of the aircraft's condition and records at a qualified facility — airframe, engines, avionics, logbooks, and airworthiness status — so you know exactly what you're buying before funds are released.
